OUR MISSION, VISION & VALUES
Precious Hearts Foundation provides safety and support to victims of domestic violence through safe and confidential temporary emergency shelters for women, single mothers, and elderly women and for men, single fathers, and elderly men with a (3) to (6) month stay and resources throughout the United States. We provide victim crisis counseling, as well as perpetrator rehabilitation / counseling from board certified counselors, victim advocacy, court and legal advocacy, mobile food pantry, clothing, furniture, pet shelter program for survivors, employment workshops, personal finance workshop, housing assistance, home ownership program, continuing education, child and adolescent mentorship, case management, strategical safety planning, community referrals, and outreach. (*interpreter services are made available.)
We wish to eliminate domestic violence and bullying by raising public awareness on the impact of bullying itself and its impact on domestic violence through educational seminars, community training, public communications, including the importance of early intervention and signs and symptoms of domestic abuse. (*Our programs are following Florida State's best protocols for domestic violence services.) We will continue to keep our doors and hearts open, and our hands extended to those in need of our services with ongoing continuation of serving domestic abuse survivors and our community with integrity, loving-kindness, and professionalism.
We are a faith driven organization in the community, enhancing community outreach and cooperation, linking systems together to prevent domestic violence and bullying. We believe that ALL lives are a gift from God and we endeavor to assist anyone needing help without prejudice of race, color, creed, religion, age, sexual preference or gender.
